12 move game
This game went from a fairly innocuous opening to a resignation very quickly after this position on move 12. It makes me wonder how many similar combinations for early wins I miss on a regular basis.
Me and the GM
This is fun company for me to be in. This page shows the top ranked players in the Mormon Chess Players club on chess.com. There is a grandmaster, a national master, and then me. I fleeting honor that will last until I resign the game I am currently losing, but pretty fun.

One of My Best
One of my all time most satisfying games. This is against my friend Ben. We've played many times, and occasionally I'm lucky enough to take a game from him. His rating of 1875 makes him easily the best player I've ever beaten in a long-form game. My ranking of 1637 should be taken with a grain of salt. It is based on only two games, both draws.
